I’m really excited about summer just like everyone else, with the chief reason being that it is my birthday season!
What I’m not excited about, however, are the inevitable swarms of mosquitoes that will descend upon my otherwise comfortable backyard garden/patio. Whenever I go outside to water our plants, I am all but guaranteed to get bitten 5-10 times.
If I’m watering our plants every day, then you can do the math on how many mosquito bites I end up with by the end of any given week.
So I searched for a solution that wouldn’t be too clunky and obtrusive to our space while being effective for as long as possible.
Enter the Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller. It creates a 15-foot zone of protection in every direction and it doesn’t need any cords OR batteries. Isn’t that cool?
But that isn’t even the best part. To me, the best part is that it doesn’t require any of those annoying bug sprays or lotions that end up smelling gross and making you not want to be protected when you head out for a fun summer evening outside.
It powers up in 15 minutes to give you the maximum protection that you need, and it doesn’t use smoke, flames, or citronella. It is easily transportable, so you can also use it on camping trips or anywhere else you’d like to be protected from these feisty little insects.
Additionally, the fuel cartridges last for 12 hours before needing a replacement. It is a really good deal, and is one that I snapped up immediately as soon as I found out about it. Here’s the link to learn more about it.
If you end up using it, I’d love to hear what you think about it!
